So I am going to Aruba on July 8th to the 15th ans i usally start my period between the 13th and 15th so I might have it while I am on vacation!. I will definatly be swimming so I was wondering what kind of tampons I should buy!. Also I HATE talking about my period with my mom so how can i make it less akward when I ask her to buy me tampons!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get the Tampax Pearl, if this is your first time wearing tampons, get the regular or petite sizes, it'll make it more comfortable for you!. Just ask your mom if you can have some cash to buy feminine products by yourself because you want to feel more independent!. Just be straight forward with your mom and get it over with!. As for what kind of tampons, go with OB!. I don't care what anyone says about Tampax and the other crap, forget it!. OB was designed by a female gynecologist based on what she and her patients wanted out of a tampon!. There is no cardboard or plastic applicator, and they're not nearly as uncomfortable as the others!. I'm 16 and I went through this last year!. My aunt advised me to throw away the Tampax and get OB!.!.!.!.she saved me!. Don't feel embarrassed!. Every woman goes through this!. You should definitely get Tampax Pearl-lites!. They are superrrrr easy to insert!. As for asking your mom, just the next time your at the store says something like 'Hey, do you think we can get some tampons for when we go to Aruba!?'

tampax pearl are the best, and by talking to her about it!.!.!. just explain to her that you dont want your period ruining your vacation, and then you show her how it works by dipping it in a cup filled with water!. hope that helps =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get the "Pearl" tampons!. I think they are by Tampax but I'm not sure!. I use them myself and I love them! They are plastic and much easier to slide in!. I know the awkward period talk!.!.!.so can you go buy them yourself or get a friend to!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
