Question: Why do my veins get so big when it's hot out!?
whenever i start getting really hot or just warmly uncomfortable my veins in my hands get really big and it's embarrassing! and if i put my arms up which i can't do just in public but as long as my arms aren't down they don't bulge out as much but it looks like a guys when they work out or something!.!.!.and i'm a 17 year old girl! only weigh 123 pounds and i'm 5'6"
is it just because my blood gets thick or what!?!?!?

i have the same problem too!.i started drinking more water and it's alright now!.It's because you're dehydrated so drink much more water;)Www@Answer-Health@Com
usually when veins get bigger, it means there is pressure on them,
maybe water pressure!.
but you said this is in your arms and hands, so it could be dehydration!.
if you really think this is something serious, or need specific answers,
you can always cally our local hospital to just talk to a nurse and she will
be glad to tell you what to do ( :

You could have blood pressure problems!. If you are out in the heat and you experience that type of thing, I would say you need to go cool off for a while, verge of sun or heat stroke!Www@Answer-Health@Com
