Why cramps are a early sign of pregnancy?!

Question: Why cramps are a early sign of pregnancy!?
Can someone tell me why women cramp in early stages of pregnancy before you even miss your first period!? I thought cramps were the universal sign for having your period!. If early stages of pregnancy are so similar to period symptoms how is a woman to really know and differentiate between the two!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The human body is really amazing!. You cramp as you are preparing for menstruation because of the "sloughing off" of endometrial tissue!. During early pregnancy, your baby is "implanting" into the uterus!.!.!.a feeling you have never experienced before!. The placenta begins to form!.!.!.also something you've never done before!.
As soon as you become pregnant, your body begins producing hormones to accomodate the pregnancy!. These cause changes and strange feelings, also!.
Even though the baby is too small to need more room, your ligaments begin stretching!.!.!.The uterus, hips, pelvis!.!.!.!.all of these will change gradually throughout your pregnancy!. If it happened all at once, it would be unbearable!.

There's just a lot going on in there!! You are right; cramping is a sign of starting your period and a lot of women (including myself) freak(ed) out when they know they are pregnant but feel cramping!. It's not a lot different!.!.!.the only way to tell for sure is to wait it out!. If your period is late, take a pregancy test!.!.!.the only sure way to diagnose pregnancy!.

Sorry I have no more definitive answers!.!.!.!.It is frustrating, but best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
