Question: How can I talk my sister OUT of getting a boob job!?
My sister really wants a boob job because her husband keeps telling her she needs one!. I might be old fashioned, but I think that is totally inappropriate to tell your wife she needs bigger boobs to be good enough for you!. But anyway, he's pressuring her into getting one and I don't see any point to it!. She's married so she doesn't need to show herself off to anyone and if she's too flat for her husband, he can deal with it or leave her!. I really don't see the point in spending thousands of dollars and risking your health for something so pointless, but she's under the false impression that if she doesn't do what her husband says, she's a horrible person!. The simple answer is that you can't!. I agree with you that her husband sounds like a total tool!. All you can do is be there for her, support her, and tell her that you think you have very pretty sister, boob job or not!.

I totally agree with you, and it's nice to know that there are still people out there that feel the same about this!. I agree with the answer about showing her pictures of "surgery gone wrong"!. Also when she is old and gray, all will be saggy with age and she will have these huge perky breast!. It will not be attractive!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's beyond inappropriate, that's just plain wrong!. For a woman to have any type of cosmetic surgery has to be a personal decision and not influenced by friends or family!. In this case, she is been pressured into surgery which is totally unnacceptable!.

First, unless she has asked you for your opinion, its probably not any of your business!. It can be hard to butt out, but sometimes that is the right thing to do!.
Second, if she did ask for your opinion, did you ask if she wants them!? Maybe they fulfill a need of hers!. If so, its her body, support her!.
Third, she should talk to a doctor about the risks and long term consequences!. Implants don't last forever; getting them is committing to a future surgery to either replace them or remove them!. Quality cosmetic surgery is expensive and even with the best surgeon, there is no guarantee of the outcome!. Cheap cosmetic surgery could leave her disfigured for life!.

your sister should only get a boob job if SHE wants one!. She shouldn't ever get one to make her husband happy!. The trouble with doing things to please other people is they are generally never pleased!. If he has a problem with her it most likely has a lot more to do with than her boob size!. If he really loves her he's going to love her no matter what cup she wears--and support her decision whatever it is--to get a boob job or not!. encourage your sister to go talk to a therapist!. She may have issues with her image or herself that a therapist can help with!. If she's seriously thinking she's bad unless she does what her husband wants--she really needs to see a therapist!. If you've already discussed these points with her and she still won't listen you'll just have to be patient with sister and love her--she's not likely to listen!. If this is the case you can't feel bad because it's not your fault--the problem is not just skin deep!.

i totally agree with you!. I think its so superficial and pointless!. and its just plain scary to have something foreign in your body!
Maybe you can try explaining to her that she is a beautiful woman regardless of her cup size!. and maybe she will then be empowered to not care about what her husband thinks!. because honestly, if her husband thinks she needs one- hes so superficial!
