OK right now I'm on my period which is REALLY heavy !. Because in 30 minutes to an hour in a half it will bleed through a regular pad! Its beenlike that since last month!.Right now I feel like throwing up and Ikeep keep feeling hungry and have a small fever!. My mom said she might have to take me to the gyno for b/c to ease it up!. I need to go but I'm fat and I'm scared about people seeing me naked while Im fat!.!.!.!.dumb but still any advice!. do you think im aneamic!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First don't worry about your weight!. A family member of mine was to embarrassed to go to the dr!. because of her weight and she ended up dying!. She had a history of urinary infections and the autopsy showed major amounts of bacteria in all her organs!.
Second a dr!. can do an exam while someone is bleeding!. I've had a few and since dr's deliver babies they can deal with the blood!. I heard that sometimes the best time to get a pelvic exam is when you are bleeding so the dr!. can see how bad it is!. Some women's dr's didn't believe them until they examined them and saw how much blood was dripping onto the floor!. Sorry to be gross!. I needed a hysterectomy and it was very hard for me to schedule and appointment with a dr!. and keep it as I kept cancelling until I wasn't bleeding!. I cancelled about three times due to bleeding but then found out that I didn't need to cancel and would have been better sooner had I not cancelled!.
A gyn dr!. can have the nurse to draw blood to check for anemia and have it sent to the lab!. Mine did blood work especially to check my blood type Rh factor while pregnant and also to test me to see if my ovaries were still putting out enough estrogen!. It usually only takes one needle stick to get blood into several different tubes (which is why they have a different color on the top of the tube) so that it can be checked for more than one thing!.
Nausea can happen to a lot of women while bleeding unless seeing the blood itself is making you feel sick!.
There is also no such thing as a dumb question so hang in there and I wish you luck!. I hope you are able to get in sooner to the dr!. than wait a few months so that you can feel better!. You can also ask about anti-nausea remedies that may help such as zofran (no drowsiness) or phenerghan (can cause drowsiness)
Also you may want to write down your questions so you can ask the dr!. them as when you are in there, you may forget what to ask!. It's happened to a lot!. I never go to a dr!. without a list of questions even if it's just 2 or 5!. Good luck to you and feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anemia will not make you bleed heavily, that's hemophilia!.
Many teenagers have severe symptoms with their periods!. I did, and my dad flipped out when I got put on BCPs at 14!. Funny thing was, I had never even kissed a boy at that point!! Fever may be a bladder infection or UTI!. Iv'e never heard of being hungry and nauseated at the same time!. Can't help you there!. Maybe just severe PMS symptoms, i!.e!. mood swings!.
The doc is gonna look at you like he/she does every other naked woman he/she sees: a patient in need of a check up!. Believe me, after seeing some of the gross STDs and babies coming out and old women, the doc won't flinch at a few extra pounds on a 13 yr old girl!. You should go!. Honestly, if you're having those problems than something's not completely normal!. And as far as you calling yourself 'fat', your doctor is exactly what they're title says, a DOCTOR! Don't worry about anything sweetheart, they're much more concerned about your reproductive health than how look in general if that makes sense!.!. First off its time to get super absorbency pads unless your doctor can get you squared away with the right B/C Pill to help!. Doctors see all types!. They became doctors to heal us and keep us healthy not to judge our bodies!. You will be covered up!.!.!.he will not want to do a physical exam when you are bleeding!. Heavy Bleeding can be the Cause of Iron Deficiency Anemia but being anemic does not cause heavy bleeding!. You would have to have a whole other batch of tests with your primary care doctor to find that out!. Well, you wear a cute little cape at the gyno, so you're not really "naked!." But going is worth it!. The dr!. may prescribe birth control pills, which will GREATLY lighten your flow and reduce other symptoms of your monthly cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
