Are hips measured at hip bone or butt for females?!
Question: Are hips measured at hip bone or butt for females!?
I was trying to do some online body fat tests, I know they are inaccurate but I dont have a scale or calipers and am broke!.!.!. lol!.
Anyway a lot of them ask for hip measurements!.!. they say measure at the "widest pt!. of your hips" which I take to mean your actual hips, so 34" for me!. The actual widest point of my body though, at my butt, is 36"!. So which one are they asking for!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you measured around your butt then that wouldn't be your hip measurements, it would be your butt measurements
they are asking for the widest part of your HIPS, not the widest part of your BODY
there is a difference
so the widest part of your hips would be at the hip bone, which would be 34"

Measurements should be taken around your hips, on top of your butt, and below your belly button; From hip bone to hip bone around at the widest part of your hips (not your waist!) Most clothes are designed to "sit" on your hips and bum, so this would be the correct place to measure them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
