Question: I just got my period, what should i eat!?
Okay so I got my period last night I guess!. And on the first day, I know I get cramps!. What should I eat to reduce them!?

You may eat whatever you choose!. If you are concerned about cramps, take Ibuprofen (advil, motrin or generic)!. The over the counter dosage is 200-400 milligrams (1-2 pills) every 4-6 hours!. My cramps are fierce, so I take 800 mg (per my doctor's instructions)!.

There are reports that caffeine can increase cramping, so you may want to steer away from sodas, tea, coffee, chocolate, etc!.!.!.

Also, no drinking alcoholic beverages while taking ibuprofen!.

But i'm really not positive!. I probolly read it from a chain letter or something lol!.
Honestly, I don't get cramps!. I can be just a lil bitchy but thats rare!. And I get a neverending craving for sugar!.
So my advice is Bananas and sugary food!.lol

Aleve works the wonders of cramps!. Just eat whatever you really want to, there isn't a specific diet plan for cramps!.

If they're bad, the next time you're at the doctor, ask about what to take for it!. (My doctor told me to take 3 Aleve!.!.!.) The answer could vary upon how old you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can't really eat anything right during your period!. When I got it I didn't get severe cramps right away!.!.!. but try reduce your junk because during your period you seriously want to pig out!.!.!. but staying away from junk reduces the bloating part!. Not for cramps, but you should eat iron rich foods when you have your period since your iron gets low!. Green leafy veggies, red meat, etc!. Or take an iron pill!.

Try and not eat salty or fatty foods!. No chocolate or salty chips!. These two things will make you bloat!. Eat some veggies they always make me feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
