Can stress affect female hormones?!

Question: Can stress affect female hormones!?
Hi everyone!. The night before last, I went to the bathroom and saw a small red spot on my underwear!. I figured I had caught my period early and put on a pad!. When I woke up, I was shocked to see a completely clean pad!. I threw that one away figuring it was just dark discharge (this doesn't happen normally)!. Today however, around 3 o' clock, I saw some spotting on my underwear again!. I felt bloated and I had cramps!. I applied a pad again and used a heating pad to ease my cramps!. I went to the bathroom after some time and saw only a half-dollar size of blood on the pad!.

This is really shocking to me because my period has always been regular!. I have only skipped one month, otherwise I have always had a period every month for about a week!. Lately, I have been stressed with transferring to colleges!. I am 20 years old, not sexually active, do not wear tampons so I'm not sure what's going on!. It feels as if it's that time of the month!. Anyone know whats going on!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes stress has a lot to do with it ,stress can cause you to completly miss your period sometimes ,or cause spotting and irregular periods!.stress can cause alot of different things!.You need to find a way to destress!.like maybe yoga or just take a moment to your self a nice bath or listen to some music you like what ever it takes, but you should allow an hour a day just to you,put everything aside(dont worry the house wont blow up and the collage will still be there) and take some you time!.You need it and your body will thank you!.Plus you will do better in school when you have less stress!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
