my 8 year old just got her period, and she wants to wear tampons but im afraid she will get injured, any ideas!? should i let her do what she wants with her body or take charge like the strong mother i am today!? - HELPPPPWww@Answer-Health@Com

Being 8 and on your period is sort of odd!. Maybe you should check with her pediatriatian!. And it's probably not a good idea to have her start with tampons!. Stick to pads, first!. At her age, she probably has a light flow!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldnt let her use a tampon yet!. I had my period for a year before i started to use a tampon!. When your a virgin and you first use a tampon, personally, it hurt going in and coming out the first couple times!. I would let her wait a year or twoWww@Answer-Health@Com
