Question: Costs and limitations of RU-486 (abortion pill) in the California!?
I'm in California, and ive been reading that it is about $300 for the abortion pills!. Is this true!? And do we need parental consent!? But before anyone says anything about keeping the baby, trust me!. It's not a spur of the moment thing!. I've put a lot of time into thinking about everything!. It was an accident!. Neither of us have any time to care for a child, if my girlfriend was to carry the baby!. We're going to college in two years, and we really can't do it!. I'm trying to do everything i can for her, but i feel horrible!. I feel like its all my fault that the condom broke, and she's suffering because of it!. And it would be ugly if either of our parents found out what's going on!. Please help me!. I understand people have individual beliefs, but i really dont want anyone forcing their pro-life ideas on me!. Believe me, I am pro-life!. Just not in situations with minors!. I mean, its not like everyone's story is going to be a Juno one anyway!. And even if it were, I dont think i could bear it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your girlfriend to planned parenthood and talk to the doctor there!. A chemically-induced abortion is not always appropriate, so the doctor is going to need to assess if she's even a candidate!. She might require a surgical abortion!. The people at Planned Parenthood will also be able to tell you what it will cost, whether her parents need to consent, etc!. From my understanding, insurance will not cover abortions at all, but your girlfriend would have to look at her specific coverage!. And if it was filed through insurance, her parents would know!. I must say, though, that she should tell her parents!. They may be angry, but an abortion is a serious proceedure and can lead to major emotional pain, as well as the physical risks!. They need to be aware of what their daughter is going through so that they can help her cope with all of it!. I'm sure they'd be more supportive than you guys think!. And please consider adoption!. I don't think insurance pays for the pills!. Your best bet honestly is to give the baby a chance!.!. Put him/her up for adoption when she is born to a couple who can't have children!. It will bring them a great joy! There is closed adoption and open adoption!. Closed you don't see the parents and open you get to see the parents and the baby before and after the baby is born!. They send you pictures and let be a part of the baby's life! I watched a movie in my child development class!. It was a tear jerkier!. She wanted to kill the baby!. All babies have a heart beat!!!!
