ok so today we r going 2 my aunts 2 swim and stuff!. i dnt want 2 b the only one not in the pool having fun! even my grandpa is getting in!! but i started my period today( i have had it b4) i just want 2 go swimming!.!.i dnt wear tampons and my mom wnt let me anyways!. sooo wat can i do!?!? i heard that the bleeding stops when ur in the water but i dnt want 2 ruin my bathing suit by bleeding in it!! If you've just started, usually it isn't as heavy but i wouldn't advise you to go swimming for hygiene reasons

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the bleeding doesn't stop when you get in the water!. You need to wear a tampon if you want to go in!. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but this is just one of the crappy things women go through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The only real option is a tampon or something tampon like!. Pads dont work in water and if you dont do anything you will bleed in your suit and the pool!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
