Question: Girls Only! (my period)!?
ok im 12 and I now wear tampons(this is my 3rd or 4th week)!.!.!.they feel weird but pads fell like you pee on yourself and you dont feel as dry!.should I move on to tampons or stick with pads!? WHICH ONES ARE BETTER!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had that same problem but i am 14!. anyhow it felt as if i peed myself everytime i stood up, specially in school!. it makes me worry about leaks and stuff!. not only that but i play field hockey and have to walk around campus to go from class to class and i am usually pretty active kind of girl!. i dont want to miss gym because of it as well!. so i just switched to tampons two periods ago!. the discomfort you are feeling might be because you havent pushed it in far enough!. so take it out and try again!. wearing tampons or pads is your decisions!. i wear tampons in the day and stick to pads at night to have less chance of getting tss!. but i saw one answere form another question say that she is 34 and has been wearing tampons since she was 11, so they are relatively safe!.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

tampons are also discreet specially if you get a tampon bag !. noone notices what is inside and if you use them at school people just might thnik you have pens and pencils in it!. so the are more comfortable than pads !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well i still use pads and i'm 21
but i know that tampons are more comfortable,(I've never worn them) but i heard once you get use to them, then they are good!. Only for the first timers it may feel uncomfortable in the beginning, but then it gets better, and it feels as if u have nothing on

They are so much more convenient to carry, use, and move in general!. You can't be discrete with a lot of pads!. It's your call, but as soon as I got my first period, I was on a mission to use tampons!. Tampons feel heaps better!. try applicator ones coz that way you know that they are in right!. but always wear a pad just in case, especially at school and stuff!. Tampons take a while getting used to but are so totally worth it!. U r more likely get hit by a bus than get TSS so cross the roads safe girl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tampons are only unsafe because of two reasons!.
1!. contamination from mercury (cotton from china)
2!. bacteria from personal hygene!.

it hurts soooo much
