Question: Can women swim in the pool when they have their periods!?
i'm wondering if women can swim in the pool when they are menstruating!? can they stick a tampon up their vagina, will this allow them to swim ok, and do any of them go in with a sanitary pad on!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pad would soak up the water, and that would be a little embarrasing!. But the tampon would work great as long as they got the right size and style!. Because sometimes it can still leak, even though you have one in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

but i don't wear tampons, and i found out that if you aren't REALLY heavy and you go in a pool without any protection, for some reason you don't bleed out, everything is just kept under, until you step out of the pool

You have to use a tampon, a pad would be useless as it would jsut soak up the water!. The reason a tampon is usefull is that it is insterted inside the woman's vagina meaning blood is absorbed before it exits the body thus saving hthe pool from messiness and the girl from embarrissment!. Sometimes girls or women are allergic to tampons or prefer not to use them so in this case they would not swim when they have their period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes but make sure you have on a tampon and if it is your first time test it out at home to see if it is comfortable for you and you are able to handle it!.

You cannot go in a pool with a pad or it will disintegrate in the water and a lady can only use a tampon in the water if her period is light or that won't be good enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
