I asked my mum to teach me to shave a few days ago and I'm 13 too!.
All I said was
"Hey mum, can you teach me to shave my legs and underarms when you have some spare time!?"
And she went out, got me some shavers and shaving cream and taught me how to shave!

If she insists you're too young, tell her you feel horrible playing netball with hairy underarms and legs and you would really appreciate it if she taught you!.
Good luck
and when you've shaved - savour the smoothness
lol!

i had the same problem when i was eleven or twelve!. it was akward telling my mom, but she understood that i'm growing up!. she didn't want me to start using razors or anything, so she bought hair removal cream for my legs!. it's easy to use, and you can't get cut or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was 12 and having the same issue!. Really, all you can do is talk to her about your problem!. You're a teenager, she should understand and be willing to let you shave if it makes you feel more comfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't ask just do it , when i was young i asked my mum and she said she prefered that i din't but i did and she doesn't mind nowWww@Answer-Health@Com

just communicate with her express how u are feeling about netball and stuff and then suggest teh 2 of you go buy shaving razors and gel/cream or wax tahts even easier and leaves no razor nicks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
