This early in pregnancy would not cause you to be uncomfortable sleeping on your stomach at this point!. You would not be far enough along!. Most people are several months pregnant before they have to quit sleeping on their stomachs!. Now was your IUD copper or did it contain slow release hormones!? If it was copper, then your doctor should have advised you against having intercourse until the shot took effect!. If it contained hormones, then you were still protected!. Having a shorter period and eventually no period are usually what happens when someone is on the shot!. Your shorter period was a normal reaction!. Eventually, you probably won't have one at all!. As far as the fatigue, this can be from your body adjusting to the new type of hormones that you are recieving from the shot!. If you are 2 weeks late and took a test that says you are negative, 98% chance you are negative!. Tests can detect pregnancy before a missed period, so if you are two weeks late you can pretty much guarantee the results!.

My advice!.!.!.!.don't worry about it!. I don't feel you have anything to worry about!. Just wait one more week and retake a test to settle your nerves!.

P!.S!. -The pregnancy tests that are purchased at the store are the same that a doctor would do in their office!. Unless you are ordered to take a blood test!. This means you can trust the grocery/drug store test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you got the shot the same day then you should be ok!. The shot has many side effects and you may be just bloated and thats why ur uncomfy sleeping on ur stomach!. Wait about 2 more weeks and if you dont have your period then take a preggo test!. If its still negative talk to your doctor!. In the mean time go to a site and get as much info as you can on the shot that you got!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt that you are pregnant!. It seems you took all of the appropriate actions to prevent pregnancy!. With the shot (depo provera!?), you normally do not have periods!. For some women that is a PLUS!. However they also have bad side effects such as weight gain, and even months after you come off of the shot up to years later, it will take that amount of time for your system to get back on track and start having normal periods again!. Spotting and missed periods are VERY common with the shot and so can nausea!. But to play it safe, take another pregnancy test in a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The shot can cause spotting that does not last very long!. It will also cause you to miss periods!. I am on the shot, and I haven't had a period this month yet either!. I also feel uncomfortable in my uterus area, but I'm not pregnant!. It's all effects from the shot most likely, but if you're still in doubt, wait another couple of weeks and take another pregnancy test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How uncomfortable!? I think you should go back to your gyn, as they may have lacerated you when they removed the IUD!. Probably not, but better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most Likely!.
Tests can be wrong!.
To be sure go get a real test from a doctor!.
But it could be something else!.
You never know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
