Question: How do i tell my dad i got my first period!?
My mom passed away when i was 3 years old!. So its just me and my dad!. well i just got my period when i was at a friends house yesterday and she gave me a few pads!. But i'm almost out now!. How do i tell my dad!? its really ackward and embarrasing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand it being awkward! but you shouldnt feel embarrased because every girl gets her period!. Just ask him to take you to the store, and when you go there put some pads is the shopping cart!

hon I would advise you to just go to your dad and say I have something personal that I need to talk to you about!. Once you have his complete attention tell him that you started your period and you need more pads!. I understand how awkward and embarrassing this can be but all of us girls go through this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
