Hi Girls,
Since Saturday night I've been in pain and it was only mild but now it hurts a lot!. Not to be rude but I've got real yellow, thick discharge and burning when I urinate!. I know it's not an STD because I've been with my partner for 4 years and we DON'T cheat! Anyway, what can I take to help thrush and a urine infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is quite possible that the same thing has caused both of your infections, happens quite often from sex, the bacteria on the penis often gets pushed into the vagina and since the urethra is in such close proximity, this often results in both thrush and a uti at the same time!.
It usually says it on the cranberry drinks(if you got it fromt he chemist) that if it doesnt start working within 4 days to go to the doctor, this is because sometimes it just isnt good enough to cure it and you may need antbiotics!. Then that gives yet another dilemma because quite often antibiotics cause thrush, so this could make it worse for you!. For this reason, since you've got a double wammy there, if it all doesnt start getting better in the next few days, dont be afraid to get some help from a doctor!

Candida causes thrush!. It lives inside all of us, especially in mucous membranes and warm, moist areas!. For reasons they don't understand, sometimes it multiplies out of control!. I get it in my mouth from wearing dentures!.

I think your boyfriend is cheating on you!. If it is a urine infection then drink lots of water and cranberry juice while sitting out a course of anti-biotics prescribed by your doctor!. For Thrush you can get a pill for ingestion for that these days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like cystitis(urine infection),quite painful,but can be kept at bay from drinking barley water or cranberry!.You can buy sachets from the chemist and the relief is almost immediate!. Thrush isn't really painful,just itches like mad and causes swelling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Lots of water and get some cranberry pills from the herbalist shop!.
Then get the canasten oral and the cream - that should do the trick!. Give it a week and if that doesnt help then you need to get to the Doctors to help :)

i had this before and its not nice, go to your doctor and they will give you 6 tablets these will last 3 days 1 int he morning and one at night!.
they work a wonder and i never thought it would go so quick!.
