there is usually a sheet of "directions" in each package!.
Some come with an applicator (two tubes with the tampon in the "top" one)--with these you insert the applicator and then push on the end tube to eject the tampon; withdraw the applicator and you're done!.
Some tampons (like o!.b!.) don't have an applicator--and I could never get them to sit right!.
Start with the smallest size (even if you have a heavy flow) until you get the hang of it!.

No!. You are supposed to put the entire cardboard tube inside you, then push the smaller tube into the larger, pushing the tampon out, then remove the cardboard!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
