Kidney/uti infection. Can anyone help me???!

Question: Kidney/uti infection!. Can anyone help me!?!?!?

Okay so a couple of weeks ago it started to burn when I went to the bathroom, and then it started to hurt my kidneys!. I am having a lot of pain in my right kidney, but none in my left!. Can you have a kidney infection in only one kidney!?

I have been taking cranberry pills and drinking a lot of water and that tends to really help, but the pain is still there!. Almost like it comes and goes!.

So my questions are;
1!. Can you have a uti infection that spreads to only one kidney!?

2!. Will the cranberry pills kill the infection!?

I tried to make an appointment at the doctors office but they are so packed that they can not get me in until next month! So should I go to the hospital!? I am kind of worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can definently get a kidney infection in one kidney!. If you let it go on for too it will get much worse!. I high temp or blood in your urine is the first sign you have put it off for too long!. The cranberry pills help ease early symptoms of a UTI but they dont do much once it is full blown and in your kidneys!. Its up to you if you want to go to the ER or wait and see if you can put it off till your appointment, but you can get very sick by putting it off!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the E!.R!. or free clinic for some antibiotics before it gets worse!. You don't want to be on dialysis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
