Birth control effectiveness?!
Question: Birth control effectiveness!?
Im taking yaz and have been on it since Oct/Nov 07' and am pretty good at taking it on time if not a few minutes earlier but sometimes if I am out I may take it an hour later!. Ive only skipped pills like 3 times and not recently!. What is the time frame that birth control can be effective against pregnancy!? also, can condoms and birth control at the same time lessen the chance of pregnancy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Birth control is over 99% effective after one week if you take it properly!. Missing pills will reduce that, but effectiveness will go back up once you've taken 7 pills!
Condoms are 97-98% effective and used with birth control it makes your chances of pregnancy very very small!. Unless you're an idiot and messing up both or just some sort of extraordinarly unlucky person (we're talking less than 1 in one thousand) you're not going to get pregnant!. Condoms also protect against STI's so if that's a concern for you, go condoms!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you miss taking your pill buy an hour or so everything should be fine!. Condoms and birth control used together will lessen your chance of pregnancy and the condom will also protect you from std's!. If you are taking the pill and using a condom you will not get pregnant unless something goes terribly wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is very important that you take your first pill of the month on time!. It is okay to miss a pill or two as long as you take them as soon as you remember!. And I recommend using condoms and the pill, just to keep you safe from other things than pregnancy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
