my friend just found out shes prego!. the father is really crazy, and she wants to take her 2 kids and run!. But she doesnt want to keep this baby, and has been asking me what an abortion really does to ur body, i know it can mess it up really bad but thats it!.!.!.does anyone know any website i can tell her about!? thanxWww@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on how far along she is!. If she is between 5-16 weeks the cervix is dialated with instruments, a curette is placed inside the uterus, and then the fetus is sucked out through a tube!. Afterwards, the patient may not experience pain but if so it will be light cramping!. Very light to no bleeding!.
If she is 17 weeks or up to your states limited amount of weeks; there are small sticks called laminara's that are placed into the cervix the day prior to the abortion to dialate the cervix overnight!. This makes it less uncomfortable for the next day!.
The only way (that I know) a womans body can be damaged from an abortion is if a doctor perferates the uterus (pokes a hole in the uterus)!.!.!.!.very rare, hardly ever happens and it can be repaired!. For more info:!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

idk, but i know that its going to kill a harmless babies life!.!. if she was thinking about giving up this baby, maybe she should of thought about having sex first, to actually know and understand that she cant handle another baby!.!.!. if she doesent want it, then i suggest having the baby through a C-section, and then putting the baby in an adoption home!.!.!. abortion is a cruel thing to do, to a small defensless baby!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to planned parenthoods website if shes not to far along then she can just take a couple pills and ur body will misscarry honestly it doesnt do much to ur body i know three women who have done it they were weak for a few days had 1 heavy period then there body went right back to normal good luck im glad ur friend is being responsible about the whole thing she needs ur support right now more then everWww@Answer-Health@Com

Why not have the child and raise the child herself, or ask a family member/friend to care for the child!. A crazy father is no reason to abort a baby!.!.!.!.especially if she plans to leave him anyway!. The psychological and emotional toil are the hardest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
