I mean, I definitely dont want a baby yet or an STD!. So please don't judge!. I will start having it eventually anyways and I at least want to be safe!.

I want to go to planned parenthood!. But I dont know what to expect!? I want to get on birth control but I cant pay for it!. Can I get free birth control!? What are standard procedures when you go in and what are some good questions I should ask!? Anything else I should know about!? Thank you so much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Planned parenthood is totally confidential so no worries there!. They will provide you birth control even if you can't pay for it!. The new rule is that you can go get birth control without having to go through a pelvic exam!. They will only insist on one after you have been sexually active for 3 years or you are 21 years old, whichever comes first!. A good question to ask is if you can get Gardisil!. This is important especially since you haven't had sex yet!. This will protect against some types of cervical cancer but you have to receive it before being exposed to the virus, so you are a prime candidate!. Some other good questions!? Which birth control is most common among girls my age!? (you aren't the youngest, trust me) Which is the most effective form of birth control!? How can I make sure and reduce my risk of STDs'!? What happens if I think I might have been exposed to an STD!? This should get you started but if the practitioner you get is good at her job, then she will have answered all of these questions while she does her "birth control options" talk with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't have sex before you get married!. The Bible says it is a sin!. That being said, you should be able to get free birth control and condoms and whatever else you need!. If I were you I would call around first!. Call your local Health Department, that's the best thing to do!. I don't really know much about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They do hand out free condoms at Planned Parenthood!.

If I were you, I would seriously wait until you were at least 16 or 17!. Most 14 year olds don't understand the emotional baggage that comes with having sex!. And, just to be fair, birth control doesn't always work!.

Focus on school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

let me get this out of the way: you're too young!.

aside from that, condoms are cheap and they prevent disease!. the pill only prevents pregnancy!. use a rubber!. every time!.

ps!. try to remember that no matter what they say or how much you put out, teenage boys don't love you!. they might say they do!. they might think they do!. but they don't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask about the various kinds of contraceptive, a good question to ask would be the free birth control, they would know of places to get that (if they don't already offer it)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they will give you everything you need for free! They can also talk to you about other birth control!.!.!.They will also give you bags of rubbers!.!.!.you know you need those too, right!? you can't be protected frm stds with pills alone!Www@Answer-Health@Com

good luck in hell!. look you cant expect people to not judge you!. oh and good luck with the std!. your to young for sex i will tell your mom!. i no wh you are because i have talked with you on yahoo messenger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the people at planned parenthood are very understanding!.!.!.!.!.as far as free stuff goes, you can get free condoms from them, though other things may have minimal costs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you going to have to pay for the pills and they are expensive especially for a 14yrs old and your lunch will not come close in paying for it!.!.!. unless you have insurance to cover it!. if you have insurance and they do cover it, a copy of that bill will be sent to your parents or the insurance company will call your parents to confirm and it will be on record since you going to have to refill those pills by monthly or every three months!.!.!.so your parents will find out sooner or later!.

you will need to fill out a form with your info, address, phone # etc!. you can ask them what kind of birth control pills that be good for you body (since there's MANY different kinds and MANY different side affects), you can ask them how long it takes until you start taking the pill and it starts going on affect, ask them what happens if you miss a pill, etc!.

i would recommend you talk to your parents!.!.tell them you are educated about sex and diseases and what to be as safe as you can!. tell them that its better on you're on the pill and being protected (not by diseases of course, so you know, you both still have to wear condoms) than have a great chance of getting unwanted pregnancy!.!.!.if you talk to them, maybe they will understand!.!.!. because those pills are not cheap and definately not freeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Planned Parenthood is great!. I don't know about free birth control, but I believe they do have discounted birth control!. (On a side note, I am assuming that you are wanting birth control as extra protection because you are planning on using condoms to prevent STDs!.)

If you are going for a pelvic exam and have never had one, be sure to tell them that so that they can walk you through each step!. You might want to ask about skin-to-skin STDs that you can get even when using condoms, like herpes and HPV!. You will have to fill out a few forms when you go in and they will probably counsel you on what you need to know about your birth control options and your sexual health!.

Finally, it is always hard to know until you actually go on the pill how your body will react, but you might want to ask questions about potential side effects!. I went on the pill when I was 17 and when I went off of it a few years later, I ended up having some really bad hormonal problems because of it!. And when I tried a different kind a few years later, they made my hair fall out in clumps!

They do offer free or low cost birth control for a year by a program called Take Charge!. "Qualification is based on income and family size!. Teens can qualify for Take Charge based on their personal income!." Tell them that you do not have health insurance so that you can apply for their program!. If you tell them you have insurance then they will bill your insurance company and your parents will receive the memo for it!.
Call ahead of time to see when free clinic days are (usually twice a week)!. It will take a while on free clinic days so be prepared to be there up to a couple hours!.
They also always give away free condoms, even if you just stop in for a minute, just simply ask for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Planned parenthood is also an abortion clinic, so they have security at the front door!. You're going to have to walk through a metal detector and all that!. !. !.like the airport!. I guess they have security because there's alot people out there who are against abortions, so they have to protect their patients!.

Once you go in, it's like going to the doctor's office!. You sign in, fill out some forms, and wait to be called in!. You will be talking to an advisor/counselor!. I'm not exactly sure if you can get birth control pills for free, but they should be able to help you out somehow!. Maybe by reducing the cost!. I had health insurance so that was not a problem for me!. But they give out free condoms!. They put it in a bowl like it's candy and you take them!.

I vaguely remember that they gave me a year supplies of birth control pills (ortho-tricycline lo)!. I think they might have just charged it through my insurance!. Chances are, they will prescribe you ortho-tricycline lo!. I didn't like it that much, made me super moody, so I switched to Yasmin!. So you might want to ask them the differences in different pill brands!. Without insurance, ortho-trycycline lo is about $55/month!. With my insurance, I pay $1/month for the pills!.

I hope that helps!.

Oh by the way!. !. !.if you do have insurance, don't worry about using it!. Your parents won't find out about it!. It's all confidential!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
