Question: I'm a skinny 13 year old, but when I sit down,!?
my thighs and tummy
look fat (to me)
I weight about 96 LBS
& my thighs are skinny when I'm standing,
but not while I'm sitting
It makes me feel fat
& i don't like it
Cuz I'm skinny when I look myself in the mirror

please dont worry hon!. The reason your thighs and stomach look larger when you sit down, is because the muscles in your legs and tummy are relaxed, and therefore when muscles are relaxed they spread out!. and when you stand all your muscles are tightend!. you dont realize your tightening your muscles when you standup because your brain is so used to it that it just comes naturally!. stop worrying your, beautiful! and dont listen to anyone who tells you otherwiseWww@Answer-Health@Com

i have the exact same weight as you and people call me skinny too and i have the same age

my thighs look fat when i sit too but that's normal

just don't worry about it

it's not fat it's muscle

Depending on how tall you are, you might be a little too thin!.
I'd kill to be 96 pounds!.!.!. Well, not really because I'm 5'6" and I'd look very Etiopian child-esque!.
Everybody looks weird when they sit down!. The next time you're watching a movie with an actress sitting down, look at her legs or her stomach (if it's showing), I guarantee you, she'll look weird too!.
If you feel REALLY self-conscious about it, go biking!. That really tones you up!. That way when you sit, you'll look like a rock!.

There just is no happy in-between!. Deal with it, love your body!.!.!. Unless you're like 350lbs!. then go on a diet and get exercise because that's unhealthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is called fat displacement!. We all have fat and need fat on our bodies especially women!. So when you sit some fat will protrude out!. Fat on a body is normal!. If your staving yourself to be extra thin, then your body is telling you it is not healthy!.
So be healthy in mind!. Don't be a psycho girl worrying about stupid fat when you are thin!. It is silly and get over it!. Worry about your finding your life's passions, not your skinny little cute legs!Www@Answer-Health@Com

omgg your soo lucky!. i weighed 96 once upon a time in the beginning of 7th grade!. im also 13!. now i weigh 103 :[ im really trying to lose wight!. but its sooo hard because alot of it is muscle from gymnastics!. my thighs are really fat tho, but my stomach is flat!. i have a 6 pack, but fat thighs! so dont feel bad cuz when i sit down, i have to hold my legs up so my thighs dont look so fat!. thats hard work!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the same way for me i stand up i look like i almost have abs
then i sit down andthere is a small roll of fat
your not fat 96 pounds is very skinny and light you ust need to tighten and tone for what you want

dont worry your not fat!!! your tummy may look fat to you just because of the veiw you see it at!. same with your thighs but when you sit it is normal for your thighs to look fat, it doesn't make you fat!.!.!.!.I am sure you are beautiful just how you are! good lock!

Oh my freekin gosh!!! I just answered another skinny 13 year old with a pic in her questions and askin "Do I look fat!?!?" Honey, please if you are 97 lbs then NO you are not freekin fat and stop trying to judge yourself on your looks!. You are probably a really nice girl and that is all that matters!. Any girl, no matter what her weight, will have bigger thighs when she sits down!. What's there has to redistribute itself because of the barrier it is up against!. Don't worry - everyone else has the same 'problem!.'
You're not fat!. But if you want to stop feeling so mushy, you should research building lean muscle!. Turning fat into muscle sounds like it would really help - but remember, you're thirteen!. down your slouching you back, and that's what
makes your tummy look bigger!. and your thighs
are being pushed up, (kinda like how a push
up bra makes your boobs look bigger), nothing

Well!.!. actually, Im pretty proud of the way I've been working up my calf muscles!. They are getting close to 15 inches around!.!.!. and all of it is solid beef when I flex them !.!.!. but when I relax the calf muscles !.!.!.!. like with my knees up and my legs sticking out!.!. those calf muscles just sort of flop there!.!.!. wobbly!. They could even be mistaken for fat!.!.!. that is, unless I flex them!.!.!.!. and wehn I look at Olympic swimmers!.!.!. those muscley arms and legs!.!.!. they shake them proir to the start to relax the muscles!.!. and their arms and legs look sort of floppy!.!. wobbly!.!.!. like fat!.!.!. but it isnt fat!.!.!. we know that it cannot be!

So when your muscles are relaxed!.!.!.!. they ought to be kind of loose!.!.!. that's how the body works!. When you are using your stomach muscles they a tight!.!.!. when you are not using them!.!.!. like when you sit down!.!.!. they are flexible!.!.!. that's not fat!.!.!. that is just the way a person's body moves!.

If you are skinny standing up, girl, you don't suddenly get fat sitting down!. Really, this idea of removing all traces of body fat is an obsession we need to drop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah same when I sit down my tummy looks a lil chubby and so do my theighs!. Thats only cause it putting pressure on your theighs with makes them look bigger!. When you sit down your stomach usually looks like little ripples!. But it happens to eveybodyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Thats normal when you sit you put pressure on your thighs and it makes it look wide when you sit down!. I with you stomach its nothing really as longs as your stomach doesn't hang over you pants or something when you stand up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am also very thin and it happens to me too!. It happens to everyone, as the muscles are not in use when you're sitting!.
