be carfull when dieting, some of them can be dangerous!. try exersizing, maybe go running with her 3 times a week, and try to eat more healthy, if you get healthy with her she'll feel better and be more motivated!. good luck :)

DON'T get her going down the path of weight loss!. SERIOUSLY!. This was how all of my eating disorders started!. I grew faster than other people my age, felt bigger than I wanted to, and started starving myself in 6th grade!. Needless to say, I have had an eating disorder ever since and I'm 32 now!.

DO NOT encourage her to start a diet or focus on losing weight!. She is probably still growing and she could do permanent psychological (and even physical) damage to herself!. Many adolescents go through growth spurt stages!.!.!. they will grow taller, and then they'll grow wider, and then they'll grow taller again!. It sounds like this could be the case with your sister!. And lots of kids - boys and girls, regardless of weight - can get stretch marks due to these growth spurts!.

As long as she is getting some exercise almost every day and eating healthy foods, her weight should not be an issue!. However, if she doesn't exercise or seems to eat unhealthy foods, then perhaps seeing a doctor/nutritionist might help her!. But even that!.!.!. I would be REALLY cautious with!. Eating disorders can take hold and take hold QUICK at that age!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should never go on a diet or a major excorcise program without a doctors approval!.But there are a lot of things that she can do that will help her live a healthier lifestyle and in doing so she might lose some excess weight like cutting out all soda drink tea and water instead!. vegeatables instead of junk foods!. and dont eat after 8 oclock at night !. since she is still a little girl her body changing might also be making a big difference in her weight if shes not very active !. then just riding a bike or running or getting involved in school sports will also help!. if she is looking for a quick fix there really is not a way to do that safely!.regardless she should still see a doc if changing her eating habits and being more active doesnt help!.Whatever you do make sure that you inform your mother about how you feel and that she feels she needs to lose weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

Because she is still growing at age 11, she should probably see a doctor before trying to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
