I got test results back........but I dont really know what to think?!

Question: I got test results back!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but I dont really know what to think!?
I had a blood test 2 weeks ago as my doctor suspected I could have PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome)!. I phoned today for the results from the GP receptionist!. She stated that all the results were 'satisfactory' (as written in a letter which is on its way to me from my doctor) but discussion with a doctor is still advised, so I made an appointment for next week!. She also said not to worry, if it was anything serious I would have been phoned by my doctor and asked to go and see him sooner!. How would you interpret these results!? Does this mean that I could still have PCOS!? Why do they still want to see me if everything is 'satisfactory'!? Thank you xWww@Answer-Health@Com

If everything came back ok then it is ok!. They wont lie to you!. They want to make another appointment so you can sit down with your doctor and discuss your results and clear up any questions!. He may also want to do another test to find out what is wrong with you!.

Good luck and hope this helps! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor wants to deicuss the test etc with you!. If it is negative then you may have more investigations to be done because you had symptoms that indicated PCOS and this is not the problem!. If a doctor's office says don't worry then don't!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably because you had some of the symptoms of PCOS, but since you don't have it, they will want to discuss what to do about your symptoms!. At the appointment, ask any questions you have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wow sounds just like me a few months back, I dont have it but I have they symptoms of it (hair growth weird places, missing periods which I always had one at the same time since I started 18 now) but its just to tell you your options he might suggest metaformin if you seem to have an insulin resistance, I take that and FemconFe(birth control) to make sure all of my levels stay balanced:)) Nothing to worry about plus taking those meds I have dropped a few pounds!.but you dont have to be overweight to have pocs I'm 18 and 5'9 and weigh 148 soo
Peace vWww@Answer-Health@Com

They'll only really call you in if they think its something to be treated right now, im guessing they probubly checked your testosterone and insulin levels, I went through the same thing and i was diagnosed with PCOS, if your levels are a bit higher than normal they'll probubly put you on metformin and/or possible a birth control pill to regulate your hormones, if you do get diagnosed with PCOS i reccomend looking at the site www!.soulcysters!.net it'll give u all the information you need to know on pcos and you can talk to other ladies who are going through what your going through, hopefully it comes back ok though, mabie satisfactory means your hormones are fine :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
