i used pads for the first 2 years!. i just tried a tampon and i like it a lot! which do you preferWww@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer my divacup because!.!.
-it's comfortable (you can't even feel it's there when it's inserted properly)
-no string to pee on
-no risks of leaking (it opens up all around and has a suction protection seal)
-no risk of TSS
-can be safely left in for up to 12 hours
-it's better for the environment
-it's cheaper
-it's cleaner and more hygienic (tampons are bleached and made of synthetic material)
-it's convenient (i don't ever have to make a last minute run to the store for tampons or worry about stashing a box of tampons in my bag on trips)
-it's better for the sea creatures (do you know how many tampon applicaters get thrown onto beaches!? yuck!)
-no need to waste my money on something i will buy and then throw away
-if i'm ever stranded on a desert island i won't bleed everywhere, whereas all of you disposables-addicted will (;Www@Answer-Health@Com

well it all depends on you!. if your flow is bad and pads are not good enough then go with tampons but you also have the risk of TSS which is very real!. make sure you use the lightest absorbancy that you can and change it regularly!. i personally wear tampons all the time and never have any issues with them!. i do make sure that i dont keep them in that long though!. use whatever makes you feel comfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tampons - I feel so much cleaner when I use them compared to pads, and it gets rid of that HORRIBLE "gush" of blood that you feel if you're wearing a pad and been sitting down for a while then suddenly stand up -- gross!!! Definitely tampons, all the way!

When i was younger I used Pads, But i feel like i have a diaper on it it gives off that nasty blood smell
i love my tampons!!! you can still wear whatever you want without that uncomfortable feeling and you dont have to worry about other people seeing or feel like they can tell you have a pad on !!!

Tampons when I'm out and about, but I like to use overnight pads for sleeping, if my flow is very heavy!. That way I don't have to keep waking up and changing my tampon!. Had my period for 15 years!.!. When I was younger I used pads, until I was about 16 and that's all my friend had, I've been a user ever since!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons all the way , i can honestly say i couldnt actually live without tampons!. I started using them the 4th month i came on and havnt stopped!. I never use pads now!. You can use tampons whilst swimming , no one can notice them , and you dont leak as much !. =] xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

definitely tampons!. it makes having a period so much better because you can still swim and do everything you wanna do!. plus i hate wearing pads because it makes me feel like im wearing a freakin diaper lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am the exact same as you!. I prefer tampons!. And I used pads for the first few years!. My mom said I could try tampons and then she said I shouldn't wear em'!. I definitely prefer tampons though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
