Question: What happens when you have your period and you go in the water!?
I went to the pool and i have my period!. Does the water effect anything on my peroid!? I know your not supposed to but i felt like getting in the water and i noticed im not supposed to!.
Any tips and help!?

Well, you can go in the waterwhen you have your period!. It will sorta stop a little!. It depends on you but for some girls it will stop completely and for others it will just slow down a lot!. If you want to go swimming when you have your period you will have to talk to your mom about wearing a tampon and if you dont want to do that then you can just wear two pads and that will not be fun because pads get puffy in the water and sometimes when they are wet they wont work!. So my suggestion to you is to wear a tampon!. Oh and your period stops in the water because of the water pressure!. Oh and as soon as you get out you will start to bleed again and it could be heavier for a while because it has to let out the blood that couldnt get out while you were swimming

Swimming or bathing shouldn't affect anything physically when you have your period, but sometimes blood can leak out and be seriously embarrassing!. Also, some religions advise against it; I'm not sure why!.
It's not a good idea to wear a pad in the pool, because it can get gross and soggy and drag down your bathing suit, and also because it's kind of unsanitary!.
Wearing a tampon should be fine if you're comfortable with them!. If you tuck the string up inside yourself a little bit (with clean hands!), you don't have to worry about it hanging out, either!.

There is nothing wrong with swimming or going into water when you're on your period, other than getting leakage in the water!. But it doesn't hurt your body in any way-- you can't get water inside you, and it doesn't interfere with the blood flow!. If you plan on swimming during your period, use tampons and then you don't have anything to worry about at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But the truth is, when u are in water, u do not have a flow!.
But the only problem is getting out of the water!.
And no it will not affect ur period!.
So no worrys when u swimming in water with no tampon on while on ur period, it won't flow, or won't hurt u :D

Where did you hear that you arent supposed to!? Water is great for period, it helps relieves cramps and cleans you up!. :)

it doesn't affect your period when you go in the water, just wear a tampon so that you won't have any leaks and can be comfortable enough to swim around, If you have never used a tampon before try it, it's a lot better than a pad and you can't even feel that it's there unless you put it in wrong, but the box usually comes with instructions!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wearing a tampon can also stop it obviously and you wont get any infections or TSS, again its like going in the bath!. as long as you change it after your finished swimming etc then you absolutely fine!. your body is a lot more resilient that people think!.

i think your not supposed to fot the hygeine of the other people!. i dont think anything would happen to you!. besides the water has chlorine, it would kill any pathogen before it go into your!.!.!.well u know!. that rule wouldnt apply if you got into a fresh water source like a pond and stuff!. then you would want to be careful, but even then most bacteria wount do much damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You WILL bleed into the water and you WILL contaminate the pool with your blood!. It is very unsanitary and gross and disgusting to go into a pool without a tampon on your period!.

Some people say it stops their flow but I wouldn't bet on that!. I'd wear a tampon!. They're easy to get in if you're going kinda heavy and you use one of the slender ones!. Pearl ones go in easier than some others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
