Hi!.!.!. I wish I could help more!. I am in the same situation, but only 4 days late so far, and on Yasmin!. I was on Yasmin months ago, too, for years!. I don't remember EVER skipping a period before!. My test was negative also!.

From what I have read, most women wait until the second month to miss a period and then go to the doctor!. If we were pregnant, we would still get pregnancy symptoms and a test should read accurate, but everyone is different!. And since the pill is supposed to make our bodies feel pregnant to stop ovulation, there are symptoms (like PMS) that just mimic early pregnancy symptoms!.

I'm going to test ONE more time with first morning urine the day before I am supposed to start my new pack!. That way, if it's positive, I won't start!. While studies I have read have shown that most birth control has no effect on a deeloping fetus in the first few months, there are rare cases where it is also blamed for birth defects!.

If you're having symptoms like extremely sore breasts and morning sickness, I'd go get a blood test to be sure!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you just started your period will be off until it gets used to the pills!.

However you should be using a condom with the pills for the first month!.

Even then, you are only 99% protected if you are using them as prescribed!.

Therefore, you could be pregnant, as any time you have sex you have a chance of becoming pregnant, and the only 100% effective method is abstinence!.

SO it could just be the pills, or you could be pregnant (there is such a thing as a false negative, which means you could be pregnant it just didn't read it correctly)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
