Everyone is different!. But in my experiences with the pill, I have taken two types!. I take the pill for medical reasons not for prevention of pregnancy!. The first was Yasmin!. I took it from 2004 until a month ago!. Then I switched to YAZ which I was told is basically the same as Yasmin but is reformulated!.
Both brands helped me physically!. Both made my period lighter, less painful, and shorter!. Both made my problem with cysts go away!. Neither one caused me to get cellulite!. Both have a diuretic which helps with retaining water!. I don't know if it's related, but I do pee more often!. The bonus to being on the YAZ in my case, is sex would sometimes hurt or I was rather dry, Since being on YAZ, the sex is actually more intense, wetter, and never hurts!. Neither had any bad side effects on me!. I can't say if it helps with your complexion or not because in my case I have never had issues with acne or blemishes!. I would suggest the YAZ!. It has been more beneficial to me than the Yasmin!. !.!.Yasmin caused migraines for me as well now that I think of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no 'best pill' if there were all women would be on the same one!. The problem is that different hormones seem to work better with different women and there is no way of predicting who will be best on which!.
Every doctor has his favourite 2 or 3 pills and tends to stick to them, because he has had good results, but every doctors choice varies! I assume that you are going to ask the advice of the pharmacist, since only doctors can currently prescribe the pill!. If she is female, her answer will simply be coloured by her personal experience!.
Yasmin is a perfectly good pill to start with, but I am afraid choice is very much hit or miss with pills!.

They're all really different and different ones work for different people!. I had to get off Yasmin because it was causing week-long migraines but I know other people who love it!.
