Irregular period after menarche last month?!

Question: Irregular period after menarche last month!?
I am 14 years old and I have just started my menarche (ever first period) last month!. I'm worried that this month's period might be late or I might even skip this month!. Is it normal or should I be worried!. I'm not entirely sure that last month was really my menarche since I've been having "brown spots" on my underwear since January and only until June I would say the flow started to be regular!. P!.S!.: I'm not sexually active!. Thanks for any answers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's totally normal! The first year is usually irregular, and it's not practical to keep a schedule until maybe a year after menarche!. It's also normal not to know when to expect it, because cramps and bloating don't come into play until two or three months after menarche!.

Periods, especially first ones, are tricky!. Your first period can be bloody and embarrassing, but the following ones can be light and barely noticeable!. This is because your body isn't yet used to the process!. It's basically having a baby without the baby!. Once your body gets used to the rhythm of your periods, they will start to get regular!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is common when you first start your period for them to be irregular!. It will settle down in time!. It's perfectly normal!. You may find you have one, one month, and then go a few months without, the timing may be irregular too!. It's nothing to worry aboutWww@Answer-Health@Com
