Having yellow vaginal discharge...on antibiotics for UTI, if I have BV would the!


Question: Having yellow vaginal discharge!.!.!.on antibiotics for UTI, if I have BV would the antibiotic help!?
I got diagnosed with a UTI on Tuesday and I am on day 3 of a antibiotic!.

But now!.!.!.

I have dry, yellow discharge in my panties and once in a while my vulva will lightly itch!.!.!.it isn't bothering me, but I'm worried I might have a yeast infection or BV!.

If it is BV, will the antibiotic kill it!?

The antibiotic I'm taking is amoxcillin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's more than likely a yeast infection (thrush) because antibiotics disrupt the bodys natural bacteria and this can lead to an imbalance of yeast in the vagina, causing thrush!. You should go to the pharmacist and get treatment otherwise the infection may get worse!. If the medication doesnt help then go and see your doctor to check for BV!. If it is BV then amoxicillin wouldnt kill it so you'd need a different antibiotic!. Good Luck xWww@Answer-Health@Com

a lot of times antibiotics can lead to yeast infections!. you can get a yeast infection from almost anything really!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
