im on loestrin24!. its a low dose birth control pill that you take daily!. i have not had any side effects!.!.!. nausea, weight gain, acne, headaches- nothing!. and i didn't loose my sex drive either which is a plus!. loestrin is designed to make your periods about 4 days long (if they are long and heavy) and it will make you bleed more lightly!.
the only thing is i had a lot of "spotting" the first like 3 months!.!.!. which is just annoying bleeding caused by the pill because its trying to get rid of excess stuff!.
and im guessing your sexually active!.!.!. i've been on it for 7 months and as of yet i have not gotten pregnant! lol so there you go!. the only thing is if you are over 150 pounds you might not want a low dose pill because it might not be strong enough!. but your doctor will tell you that!. hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
