Question on diagnostic mammogram?!

Question: Question on diagnostic mammogram!?
I am to have one on August 8th!. The doc I went to was 99% sure it is a fibroid, but has to make sure!.!.!.no problem!. But what is the difference between a diagnostic mammo and a regular screening mammo!? Does the diagnostic one look more closely at the lump!? does it only check the one affected breast or both!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi

I have a mammogram ever year!.
They told me when referring having
a fibroid breast, it mean that the tissue
if very dense and they can't see it very
well!. So they do it to more clearly see
what they need to see!. There was never
any problem!. Hope the same for you!.
