my friend just got her period and i want to have mine so bad i have pubic hair and i have hair on my legs and arms and a tiny bit on my armpits and ive acted a little crabby lately i am almost 11 will i get it real soon!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was exactly like you when i was 11 wondering when I would get mine!. I felt like everyone was going to get it then I didn't!. Then those thoughts drifted and suddenly a year later I got my period in school and had no idea what to do!. So don't push it but be prepared when you do eventually get it!. If it be tomorrow or 5 years from now!. Remember everyone is different!.

You might not get it until you're 17 years old, but honestly your period isn't all it's worked up to be!. It means no swimming for a week if your mum doesn't let you use tampons, serious cramps for almost 3 days straight, and for some girls I've heard it's so bad that they throw up (from the cramps)!. And then you get to school, and you're not prepared or something, and you get it really strong and there's blood everywhere!.!.!. ugh!.
You might be getting it soonish if you're getting hair, but try not to be crabby-- that might just be jealousy : (

Honey, I am almost fourteen and I am able to tell you that I have not started my period yet!. I know how you feel!. You feel like everyone says be happy you don't have it ,when they don't understand what it is like to be the only one left from your friends who hasn't started!.!.!.which comes with being the only one of your friends without boobs ( which is me and it sucks at our age cause it is a small sign of being immature) and being teased for being immature and not knowing what it is like to be a woman!. What most people do not know is that it doesn't only suck to start it!.!.!.it sucks to not start it!. In the meantime I say we both hang in there and have the comfort of knowing we do not have to deal with the pain our friends have to deal with and that when the time is right it will all happen for us!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chances are you will probably get it soon, but its more likely that you will start it around the same time that your mother did!.

Some people dont get it until they turn 18! So it could be a while, dont worry about it yet!.

And you'll get it when you're ready!. Girls get their period when they hit a certain height/weight ratio!. 11 is about average, but you could not get yours until you're 14 or so!. I knew a girl who was a sophomore in high school before she got hers!. Don't worry if your friends are getting theirs, you'll get yours when you're body is ready!. But if you hit 16 and still haven't gotten it, go see your doctor!.
Also being crabby does not automatically mean you are about to start your period, it could just be you woke up on the wrong side of the bed!.
Another thing, depending on how much the female hormone gods love you, you may or may not get crabby right before, or get the cramps, bloating, acne problems and what not that go along with getting your period!. Just letting you know that it's not all it's cracked up to be!.
