Ovarian cysts are not usually harmful!. I had one last year that was the size of a softball, and I didn't even know it was there! I had it surgically removed and my doctor says everything will be normal, I still have a perfectly functioning ovary!. Not to worry she will be ok!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not at all uncommon!. Don't worry!. A lot of girls have this!. In fact we often get cysts and they popand go away and we don't even know!. It's the ones that grow and don't go away that make you sore!. Mostly cysts are not cancerous (benign), but of course some can be!. It can make you look tired and sick and she was probably worried about it!. It's a simple operation to remove them!. Just 3 holes (sometimes 2) in ya belly!. Done in 1 day!. Maybe talk to her some more and tell her how much you worry about her!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Women have two egg sacs called ovaries!. Every month one of the eggs pops out of the ovary on its way to the womb to be fertilized!. A cyst sometimes forms on the outer surface of the ovary where the egg pops out and it grows like a tumor!. It has roots that grow over the surface and as it expands it painfully strangles the ovary!. They can cause permanent damage to the ovary and can develop into cancerous tumors so they are eradicated immediately upon discovery!. When this condition is caught early it is good news!. Worst case is an oopherectomy, removal of the ovary!.
But she still has one left!. Enough eggs in there for a thousand babies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have had ovarian cysts since i was 17!. its not a real problem!. yes it does cause pain!. but they put me on birth control and the cysts got smaller and eventually were gone!. im sure they have gave this as an option, if not have her talk to them about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
