Flexeril (muscle relaxer) and Menstrual Cycle?!

Question: Flexeril (muscle relaxer) and Menstrual Cycle!?
My doctor is having me take Flexeril, which is a muscle relaxer, for my pulled muscle in my back and I just started my menstrual cycle today!. Is it safe for me to continue to take this medication while on my cycle!? Would it cause any usual discomfort or side affects other than what is listed on the information packet!? Thanks in advance for any information given!. Have a good day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor knows you are a woman and thus subject to menstruation!. Were I to guess, this fact was considered when prescribing the medication!.

If you're concerned, call the doctor's office and inquire!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
