You can make this request of the admissions RN, or have your physician write the order!. Regarding phone calls, in most hospitals, each room now has a separate phone number, and the staff won't put the calls through if you request that they be held, but if you give the number to friends or family who you want to call you, make sure they do not share the number!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
