Answers:
A hysterectomy is not a disease!. It's a treatment/surgery where they remove a woman's uterus and sometimes the ovaries and fallopian tubes!. (When I had mine, everything was removed!.) A woman may have to have this surgery if she has a certain disease/issue such as endometriosis, fibroids, uterine prolapse, cancer etc!. If the disease/issue isn't treated or a hysterctomy isn't done, the person can suffer greatly!.
The disease I had was Endometriosis, which is when the tissue inside the uterus starts to grow outside of it and onto other organs!. Medication didn't work and I was in severe pain, so they did a hysterectomy!. I was in the hospital for a couple of days and in pain for some time, but it goes away!. My daughters are checked for signs of it yearly because it is genetic!.
Hope I helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com
