Your vagina is acidic, which is what helps control the growth of bacteria and yeast!. Most soap is basic, which "neutralizes" the acid levels in your vagina!.!.!. this can lead to increased infections!. If you have strong odor, you need to treat it! If you have a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis, that's what's causing your odor and no amount of washing "down there" is going to make it go away!. In fact, you're upsetting the acidity of your vagina which is just aggravating your condition!. I have read that you should only use water to rinse your vagina, but you can use soap on your outer labia and surrounding areas to rinse "sweat" away!. Your vagina, they say, is self-cleaning!. If you feel like you have to use soap, you can buy special low pH soap made specifically for cleaning your vagina- I forget what it's called, but you should be able to find it by searching "low pH soap!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

you're not supposed to soap at all down there, your area needs to have the natural bacteria to help fight diseases and protect your body, by cleaning out those good and perfectly natural bacteria, you're just creating a home for foul smells to create!. try eating some yogurt with those natural bacteria/enzymes, or try taking acidophilus, its a probiotic formula thats supposed to help regulate "down there"!.

DON'T SOAP!Www@Answer-Health@Com

genitals have distinct odor which is normal!. you may use feminine wash that can be found in the feminine aisle of your local grocery store (Summer's Eve is an example)!. Do not use normal soap as it has harsh ingredients which is not suited for the skin down there!. if the person right next to you can smell it, you might have an infection, you might want to consult and gynecologist!.

when i had a yeast infection i smelt really bad,
but once it whent away i still smelt a little bad!.

but not as much !.
it lasted for quite awhile too!.
but no it has passed!.

you probably have a yeast infection!.
put some plain white yogurt on a tampon and stick it in!.

it should subside, if you do that once a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use a bottle of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser on my entire body!. My skin doesn't do well with any other soaps, and I have found that this effectively cleans everywhere without the strong scents of soaps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am currently having the same issue!. I would schedule an appointment to get a PAP and see if you indeed do have an infection!. I scheduled one for today and I go at 10!. I will let you know what my doctor says because it sounds just like what I am going through!. I started to use just regular antibacterial soap, don't use anything that is scented!. When you do wash down there don't use a lot of soap either, I have found that to help!. Also wash with a cooler water !.!.!. not sure if it helps after words but it will ease any itching that you may have for the time being!. Email me with more details!.
