Question: After my first period!?
im 13 , and i just got my period on the 17th , and im not stupid i have alot of common sence , and i better but different outlook on life then most girls my age!. but my friend went to the doctor and was informing her about the menstrual cyclee giving that she hasnt had hers yet!. and her doctor told her that after you get your period you only grow 2-3 inches after that !. and i dont want to be really short , i wanna be really tall!. im like 5'2" , and my mom is like 5'4" , and my sister is like 5'3" and shes 18 , but shes not like short compared to everyone else!. and my dad is 6'4", and my brother is 6'1"!. i want to be tall , you know like a model haha !. but not to muscular looking !. and im really scared im not going to grow all that much ): whats your input !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am 16 now, and i got my period exactly 2 years ago when i was 14 on july 15!! We got it around the same time haha!.!.except i was a year later!. But anyways!.!.!.i just want to let you know that doctors arent always right!. My docter told me girls officially stop growing when they are 21!. Thats when they OFFICIALLY are done!. Ive heard stories where girls have grown 6 inches after they got their period!! Im also 5'2 like you!.!.!.and i grew like 3 inches since i got my period and i sttill am growing!! Dont worry about it!.!.!.you should definately shoot up to 5'4 atleast :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

youll most likely grow a couple more inches be gratefull tho i got my period when i was 11 i was taller for my age almost 5ft now im 5ft and half lol im 17 and done growing tallerWww@Answer-Health@Com
