It's not really the case of you looking more or less like your dad, if he is taller than your mother!. The genes are different, except some are dominant (you get those from one chromosone) and some are recessive (dominant ones take over these if there is one dominant and one recessive)!.
Because both your parents are small, i would say that you are going to be small, too!. My mum is only 5'5", my dad is about 5' 7"!. I am only about an inch smaller than my mum, but i have started my periods!. I wouldn't worry about it too much :) after all, we're still young, and even though we'll never be model tall i would rather be a little shorter than my boyfriend!.!.!.??

Because both your parents are small, i would say that you are going to be small, too!. My mum is only 5'5", my dad is about 5' 7"!. I am only about an inch smaller than my mum, but i have started my periods!. I wouldn't worry about it too much :) after all, we're still young, and even though we'll never be model tall i would rather be a little shorter than my boyfriend!.!.!.??

More than likely you'll probably grow some more!. However don't get too disapointed if you don't pass your father!. People usually hit a growth spurt around puberty - sometimes its later sometimes its earlier - however you'll continue to grow untill you're early twenties (although your growth rate will decrease radically the older you get after puberty)!. Another thing, thought I'd throw this in because I have a little sister who is the same age as you and she is a bit touchy about her size!. Your height is not the only thing that will grow!. Basically you're in like 8th grade or around there, don't expect to wear the same size clothing in four years!. Its not going to happen!. Remember its not the outside or the physical features that make you who you are!. Surround yourself with people who like you for you not for who they think you should be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

On myspace I always see her admiring all the "tiny girls" profiles at her school because boys your age like the really tiny(short)girls because boys your age are shorter!. Here is the thing: If you are 5 ft 4, and you have not started your period, you will probably grow to be your mom's height!. Though, you do not have to take a parents height!. I have had my period for a year, my parents are both very tall, but I take the height of my Grandmother and Aunt, I am 5 ft!. 3!. So I will not grow more then an inch!. i have been told that girls stop growing 2 years after their period begins but im not sure thats true!. the average age we stop growing is 16-18, depending on how early u started puberty!. but u will probably end up taller than ur mum, and depending on which genes u inherited, as tall as ur dad!. but u will most definatly be in between those two heights!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well growth doesn't work like an average of your parents!. Its far more complicated than that!. With your parents being a certain height there are a bunch of combinations of how tall you will be and any one of them could be the gene that was given to you!.

You will get taller, but no one knows how tall you will be!. Most people mimic their parents growth in some way, but often times someone else down the bloodline could pass on their shortness or tallness to you!. My mom is about 5'4, my dad 6'0!. yes, you will grow, in fact, you will continue to grow until you reach age twenty to twenty two!. the only downside is that you may not hit a growth spirt till you turn eighteen or ninteen, so dont expect to get taller within the next month or, not even this year, just live your life, and itll hit you before you know it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes you will be growing! you will be much taller than what you are now, especially since you're still 13!. you still have a lot of growing room left, and you haven't quite hit puberty!.
