You won't get TSS if you use a tampon as long as you change it regularly!. The risk of TSS is very, very small!. The only person I've ever encountered who had TSS was my mom, and she got it from an infection after surgery, not from a tampon!. Just get a lighter absorbancy tampon, and bring one along so you can go change it during the day!. If you don't want to wear a tampon and not go, then just tell the people you're supposed to go with that you're not feeling well and you won't be able to go today!. But personally I don't see any reason to miss out on a day of fun because of your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it makes you feel any better, TSS from tampons is really, super rare! In 1980, there was a specific brand of tampons that caused TSS very often because of the super-absorbent materials it was made of!. This brand was actually pulled off shelves because of it!. Because of stricter guidelines on tampons and their absorbencies, TSS just doesn't really happen anymore! Millions of women wear tampons every day, and in 1998 there were only 3 confirmed cases of menstrual-related TSS!. Only three women! That's crazy!.
Use a low absorbency tampon that's appropriate for your flow, remove it when it's saturated (TSS can be caused by removing a tampon while it's still dry, which causes tiny cuts inside your vagina), and don't leave your tampon in any longer than 8 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

TSS is extremely rare and if your gonna wear a tampon as long as you dont leave in for too long you'll be fine with it in!.
If i was you i wouldn't worry about it and i would just go to the waterpark, as your period shouldn't really affect your life!.
But if it's really irregular maybe you should go talk to a doctor to find out if you can make it more regular!.

I agree with the first poster!. You're not going to get TSS from using a tampon at a water park!. Only a very small percent of women ever get TSS and normally it's not just from inserting a tampon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
u wont get tss, palz!. stop worrying,!. u get tss if its in for like a whole 24 hours or w!.e!. bring a bag like u would keep ur towel and sunscreena and stuff in a put some in there and change them every couple of hours!. like 3 or 4Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take 3-4 tampons and say you have to go to the bathroom every 4-5 hours!. And you should be fine!.

As long as you change your tampon regularly you won't get TSS!. Change it every 6 hours ideally and you'll be fine!

Wear a tampon and nothing will go wrong!. Ask your mom or older sister how to put it in, or if that doesn't work, try looking it up online!.
