Vaginal Dryness?!
Question: Vaginal Dryness!?
I'm so tired of my vaginal area I'm ready to blow it up literally!. Took Trinessa for 21 days!. Made me a basket case/crying/aching and spotting nonstop!. Caused vaginal irritation on top of that! Went to OBGYN crying!. She changed me over to the Nuva Ring which I have no problems with!. Well the 'extra whitish' discharge is a bit odd to SEE but I don't feel it!. However!.!.!.the original vaginal irritation has shown to be just dryness!. Replens works great!. I go back to the OBGYN on the 30th but if the replens is working great for the dryness I am assuming I'm okay to wait until the 30th or should I go to the ER!? No abnormal discharge!. No itching!. No pain!. Nothing when I use Replens!.!.!.well except the increased clear/whitish discharge!. I just don't want to 'hurt' myself!. I'm sure the dryness is from the emotional rollercoaster I was on for a month and really!.!.!.just advice please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Vaginal irritation and dryness are typically directly related to hormonal changes!. Since you're doing the BCP-dance (the little name I give to switching methods often) then there's every possibility that your problems will not only go away soon because your body will acclimate but that your original problems stemmed from the first pill!.
If you're not experiencing any horrible problems and the Replens is working for you adequately, then I would just hold off till your appointment!. It certainly doesn't sound like anything to go to the ER over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may well be a hormone imbalance!. Get your Dr to do a hormone profile on you!. It may well be worth having a vaginal swab taken too to check for thrush etc which can cause a whitish discharge!. You can be given a cream to help with the dryness!. I don't personally think the ER is required!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I agree with Brutal!. Just relax and make sure you keep the area clean!. Don't put cream inside at all, you don't want to get a yeast infection on top of everything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
