Question: I am 16 and a half, 5'6" !.!. will I grow a bit more!?
My mom is 5'3" and my dad is 5'6"!. I began my menstruation cycles a year and a half ago!.!. I was late on that!. Oh yea, and i'm a girl!. Is there hope for me to grow a few more inches taller!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might, when I was 17 I was 5'7 and thought I was done growing, but by my 18th birthday I was 5'9!. My Mom is 5'5 and my Dad is 6'3 though!. You should try yoga or ballet to improve your posture to make you look taller :) Also, most girls finish growing at about 16, but many also continue until 18-21!.

I'm not an expert, but I believe that girls usually mature earlier than boys!. Thus, girls tend to finish puberty earlier than boys as well!. Also, considering your parents' lack of height, you have probably reached your peak height!. If not, all you will get at most is a couple of inches!. However, considering that you were late entering your cycle, you might be a late bloomer!. If that's the case, then you might grow a bit more before reaching your peak!. Well from what a doctor has told me, which is close to the family!. He said, most males stop growing around the age of 18 and woman stop around 21!. But it is all in your genes as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
