I wouldn't say its too young!.!.!.I started when I was 10!. Your body type really depends on when you start!.!.!.healthy kids are starting younger these days!. Your body begins to realize that it is healthy enough to support and provide for a baby!. I have heard of kids as young as 5 starting thier periods!. I am obviously not an expert on this issue, but I woundn't worry too much about it!.!.!.your issue sounds normal to me!. 8 years is a little young, but you should have nothing to worry about because some girls start getting their periods a little young!. My grandma got hers when she was eight years old, and my sister got hers when she was nine, so even though getting it at that age is rarely heard of it's still normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
