I am a CMA
If she is on Birth control than she doesn't need the morning after pill because that is all the pill is, is a birth control pill

If she got pregnant and she is on birth control she will just spontaneously abort ( miscarry)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Better safe than sorry!. Birth control pills can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to fully kick in, meaning that she definitely isn't fully protected after just 5 days of taking them!.

Here in California, Plan B pills can be purchased at any pharmacy by anyone 18+ for $50!. (Usually comes out to $54 or so with tax!.) Think about it - if you ignore this little slip-up and she IS pregnant, it's going to cost much more to have a baby and raise a child!. Abortions are also much more expensive than the morning after pill - about $350-$500 a pop!.

In the long run, spending $50 for your girlfriend's safety and peace of mind is definitely worth it!. Also, I hope you pay for it and don't stick it on her!. She wasn't the one who "might have spatted!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

Birth control isn't effective till 7 days after you start taking it!. I have taken the morning after pill while on birth control because I had missed a pill and wanted to be safe!. If she wants to take it let her, its better safe then end up with a baby!. Read the information on the packet of pills!.
if you are on the pill it will not make you lose the baby if you are pregnant!. Thats a myth or girls would be taking the pill instead of getting abortions!.
Morning after pill is a really a super dose of birth control pills, so it kicks in faster, but can make you feel kind sick!.

EDIT:::You can get the morning after pill free at planned parenthood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It takes longer than 5 days for birth control to take effect!. Usually it takes a month or two to be effective!. If she just had her period when she started the birth control, then she is likely not pregnant!. I think the danger zone is 11-14 days after the menstrual cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For the first 7 days (minimum) of the birth control pill you definitely need to use a condom also!. So yes, she should take it to be sure!. It's free from family planning clinicsand some pharmacies anyway, so no big deal!. & it's totally confidential too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She needs a back up method for at least the first 7 days of being on the pill, depends on which one she is on!. Its only $35 and probably a good idea if she is worried about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the morning after pill is birth control!. but no even though after 5 days her birth control is not effective really yet!. so just keep it safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

um yeah!.!.!.!.birth control isnt effective until 1-3 months after you first started taking it!. Use condoms for another few months or pull out!. Be smart :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
