I'm 13 and on my period!. I need more pads, and thats like the worst subject that i like talking about with my mom!. like how can i ask her for more because most likely she would say go ask your dad, and no i hate asking my dad because its just not right!. so how can i ask her to go out and get me some!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Realize that your mom has been getting her period every month for many many years, and your dad knows all about it!. So there is no need to be embarrassed!. You could just hint at it, ask your mom when she is going shopping soon, or ask when is she going shopping!? Then say we are running low on pads!. If you have to ask dad, just ask if he will take you to the store, for "woman's items"!. He has already gone to the store and bought them for your mom, so he does know all about them!. It is part of growing up!. They both already know that you will be getting and having your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You Mom knows all about having a period!. Go ask her!. You might be surprised by her response!. Let her know it embarrasses you to have to ask your father!. But If you have to ask Dad, just say it is for a female product!. He'll know and hopefully he will be sensitive to your having to ask him!. first!.!.!.mom's should be helping you with this & if not!.!.you NEED to talk to your mom and ask her why she won't be helping you because thats a big part in helping a teenage daughter!. but if you can't do that, ask your grandma, aunt, friend, or neighbor!. someone you feel a little more comfortable talking to this about!.

Just say Mom, I need some more pads!. Can we go to the store soon and get some!? That is what I use when I have to ask my mom!. Or, if you are at the store, ask her if you can go get something, go get it, and put it in the cartWww@Answer-Health@Com
