im going on a cruise this weekend!.!.and i kno that im going to start my period!.!.i have all the symptoms plus the date!.!.im really regular!. but i wanna take birth control for the first time to hopefully stop it! is this okay!? should i take it after i start or before!? details to what it does!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK starting birth control now WILL NOT stop your period from coming this weekend!.
Take some tampons and midol and have fun!. A period on a cruise will NOT ruin it, only your attitude about your period will!.

If I were you I wouldn't start birth control!. Just bring lots of tampons and pads on the cruise!. My sister had her period on a cruise and she was fine!. She just wore tampons and pads!. Bring lots of tampons because chances are you will be swimming a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If I were you, I wouldn't take birth control to stop your periods!. They can become irregular!. Just take tampons or pads, whatever you use!. If you go swimming, use tampons!. Anyways good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
