what is sooo bad about using pads while swimming!? i dont want to use tampons they scare me =S lol

You cannot wear pads while swimming it wil go into the water and if the pad leaks it will be embarrasing, trust me all girls know what its like!. Also its a health concern for other in the pool, and you!. Your best bet is to try a tampon, there a little werid at first but once you get used to them wich takes only like 2 minuites there so much better than pads!. Also pads buch up and tampons dont move around or anything like that cause they have a way of staying in there!. If you are going to actually use a tampon I would try using Playtex Sport, Tampax pearl or anything that says active or 360 protection on the box!

If you use pads while swimming, the pads will soak all the water up and it will look like you have a package!. And the "your period stops in the water" thing is a TOTAL lie!. Ask your mom [if you're a teen] or a trusted woman about tampons!. They're not that scary!. they're really comfortable, easy to insert and remove, and if you get it in right [which is really easy to do] you cant even feel them!
If you do get tampons!. Get Tampax Pearl with the Plastic Applicator!. Dont ever get cardboard, those can be kind of uncomfortable when you're putting them in!. But the plastic applicator slides right in and slides right out!. theres instructions on the box too!.

the sticky stuff is affected by water, and itll come off!.
and its probably not too hot for everyone to be staring at your sanitary towel floating in the pool!

Pads would soak up pool or lake water and blood would get into the water in which you are swimming!. Gross and embarrassing!. if you truly do not want to use tampons and you are not a virgin I suggest using a soft cup such as Instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They get wet and leak and obviously, don't do their job!. I hate tampons, but I wear them for swimming, and it's not bad because being in the water relieves the uncomfortableness for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
