Answers:
Why do you have to tell her!? The gynocologist is a doctor, and thus has to work under the ethics all doctors adhere to: the Hippocratic Oath, which protects your privacy!.
Just tell her you would rather not have her go with you, or go in with you!. She doesn't need to know your sexual business!

Your mom will know eventually that you are sexually active, and probably actually already knows in a way!. But I don't feel like you need to tell her!.

If you decide you really do need to, I hope you can at least tell her that you have been responsible when you were at it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honey, if your going into college you're mother probably already assumes that your sexually active!. 89% of girls in America become sexually active by the time they are 16!. Just sit her down, woman to woman, and say something like "mom, I dont know if you figured this, or if you know, but I have sex!." Trust me, unless she's one of the 7% of women in America that waited until they're married, then she'd probably had sex by the time she was your age!. And either way, she'll understand!.
Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

WHy would you need to tell her, even if youa re going to the gyno!. The only person who needs to know is you and the gyno!. Your mother does not even need to be present when you are at the gyno's!. In time, she will just know that you are most likely sexually active due to your age!.
Just dont tell her if youa re worried she will think of you differently!. And just dont let her come with you when you go to the gyno if that is the reason you think you need to tell her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your mother if she enjoys sex!.

If she says Yes, which she will after a while of arguing about the randomness of the question,

you can say, " well mother, so do I !!"

Then explain to her that you have been sexually active, and that you have been talking all the PRECAUTIONARY measures against pregnancy, because that is a mothers NUMBER ONE concern!.

Once you explain that, she will be ok with it!.

Give it a go ;-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're over 18, the gyno will not tell your mom about you being sexually active!. It's a confidentiality thing!.

However if you really want to tell her, then approach her just like any adult would!. Sit down with her in privacy, and then tell her that you would like to tell her that you're sexually active and have been taking all of the safety precautions that you should be taking!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't have to tell her(you ma) anything if you don't want!. your gyno can't tell if you are or aren't physically, a virgin or not!. get on birth contrl pills though, ask for them if don't already have them!. if you want to tell your gyno about you having sex then you can, by law she is not allowed to tell your mother!. anything you say to your gyno is strictly confidential!. it's up to you whether or not you'd like to share that w/your mother!.!.about you being sexual active!. you could always tell her after you go off to college!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have to tell her anything, and it is none of her business!. You should tell your gynecologist though!. Your gynecologist is not supposed to tell anything that you tell them to anyone else, so don't worry about your mother finding anything out!. If you mother asks you, you don't need to tell her anything!. It's not like you would ask her the same question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

why do you have to tell her!. Ask your mother to leave the room and tell your gyno whats going on they have policies that protect you even from your parents!. They cn even prescribe Birth Control and say it's to treat an irregular period!.

I never told my mom I was sexually active because it's none of her Business!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she has seen that you have a long term relationship with someone, it might not be that difficult, she might already have figured that out!.

Either way, I think you should simply be direct!. She'll either assume that its normal at your age, or be shocked because you're nor a little girl anymore!. If she has that last perception, nothing can be done about it, she'll be shocked no matter what, but she'll have to accept it, you're an adult!.
If she treats you differently later, you'll have to give her some time to realize that you can make your own choices about what to do with your body!.
You can also try to write a letter to her!. Often that's easier and avoids impulsive reactions from both of you!.
